Lomond has been named in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work list for 2026 in the Very Big Organisation category and has also been recognised in Great Place to Work UK’s Best Places to Work for Development rankings.
The latest recognition marks the third consecutive year that the estate agency has appeared in the Great Place to Work rankings, although this is the first time the business has been included in the Development category. The company now employs more than 2,500 staff across eight UK regions.
It is also the first time the group has been listed in the Very Big Organisation category by The Sunday Times Best Places to Work, reflecting the company’s growth in recent years.
The awards focus on companies’ approaches to employee development, training and career progression. Lomond said its internal programmes include mentoring, management training, graduate schemes and diversity and inclusion initiatives across the business.
Ed Phillips, group chief executive of Lomond, said: “The property industry is an incredibly fast-moving environment, and I am immensely proud to be recognised for the focus we have on our people.
“Our people are at the heart of what we do, and we believe that investing in them is fundamental to our long-term success. This recognition reflects that we are building a place where people feel supported and valued to progress and grow their careers.”
Clare Wakeford, chief people officer of Lomond, added: “These awards both truly reflect the culture we have worked hard to create at Lomond. We strive to ensure people feel supported and empowered to develop in a way that’s meaningful to them.
“Alongside the company’s expansion, we are committed to supporting each and every employee throughout their careers; whether that’s through training, mentorship, or wellbeing support, our focus is on helping everyone reach their potential.”
Earlier this year Lomond announced its expansion into new regions with acquisitions of Homesure in Liverpool and Prospect in the Thames Valley region, as well as Clyde across the west of Scotland.
Lomond recently hired James Cosser-Hindle as its group people director to help shape and strengthen its people strategy as it continues its rapid growth across the UK.
