Estate agency lands sole instruction on mansion with secret Batman lair

Draper London has been appointed sole agent for the sale of a Hampstead mansion owned by tech entrepreneur Sergey Frolovichev.

The property, located on Greenaway Gardens in north west London, has been brought to market with a guide price of £29.95m. Frolovichev, a former business associate of Andrey Andreev, worked with architectural practice SHH on the redesign of the house.

The home extends to around 14,500 sq ft and includes seven bedroom suites, six reception rooms, a study, media room and leisure facilities including a swimming pool, gym, sauna and steam room. The property also features a design workshop and studio inspired by the film The Dark Knight, including a concealed staircase entrance.

The house sits on a large plot with a gated driveway and almost 8,000 sq ft of rear terraces leading onto a south west-facing garden.

Originally constructed in the 1930s, the three-storey neo-Georgian property was designed by English architect Charles Henry Bourne Quennell and retains features including sash windows, brick detailing and a central stone entrance portico.

Craig Draper, founder and managing director of Draper London, said: “This unique trophy mansion on Greenaway Gardens provides an extraordinary opportunity for an incoming purchaser to enjoy the pleasurable finishing elements of such a project where the heavy lifting has been completed a superlative level of quality.”
