Knight Frank agrees partnership with US-based estate agency

Knight Frank has entered into a jointly branded alliance with New York-based luxury brokerage Modlin Group.

The partnership marks Knight Frank’s formal expansion approach into the New York market through a local operating partner.

Modlin Group, founded by Adam D. Modlin, advises on the sale and acquisition of high-value residential property in New York and the Hamptons, including single-family homes, townhouses, penthouses and larger estates.

The firm has acted on a number of high-value transactions in New York and the Hamptons, including the $55m sale of 8 East 62nd Street and the $57m penthouse at 70 Vestry Street. In the Hamptons, deals have included a $115m estate on Further Lane in East Hampton and a $72m property on East Dune in East Hampton.

The two firms will work together on client referrals and cross-border activity between the US and international markets.
