Ambitious estate agency adds ninth branch to portfolio with acquisition of rival firm

Davis Tate has acquired Paul Pieri Estate Agents in Wantage, expanding its operations in Oxfordshire.

Paul Pieri Estate Agents has been recognised locally for its knowledge of the area and client service. Paul Pieri selected Davis Tate as the buyer to ensure continuity in service for clients.

Davis Tate has operated in the region for over 35 years and already has a presence in Wantage. The reopening of a branch in the town will provide local access to the company’s services.

Joe Lucas, Sales Director of Davis Tate, commented: “We’re delighted to be re-establishing a physical presence in Wantage. Paul has built a fantastic business with strong local roots, and we’re excited to build on that success. By bringing the Wantage office into the Davis Tate network, we believe the business will be further strengthened by the support of the other eight branches across Oxfordshire and Berkshire.”

As part of the acquisition, the experienced team at Paul Pieri Estate Agents will remain in place, ensuring continuity of service. The acquisition has been supported by LSL Estate Agency Franchising, and marks the fourth acquisition they have facilitated for their franchise partners so far this year.

Kate Ashley-Ives, franchise director at LSL Estate Agency Franchising, said “I look forward to working with the team at Davis Tate to acquire further lettings agencies in the area as they look to continue their expansion.”

Southern Homemove owns seven of the eight current Davis Tate branches and are a franchise partner of LSL Estate Agency Franchising. They also operate Goodfellows and Hawes & Co. estate agency brands, with offices across South West London and Surrey. This acquisition represents the second for Southern Homemove with the LSL franchise partner actively exploring further acquisition opportunities.
