Landlords and tenants of Belvoir Hull have found themselves under new management following the acquisition of the portfolio by Northwood Beverley and Hull.
Owned and operated by John Ounsworth since 2020, Northwood Beverley and Hull has grown steadily. This second acquisition in three years increases its combined managed portfolio to more than 400 units across Hull and the East Yorkshire region.
The deal also introduces dedicated HMO management services in Hull, further strengthening the agency’s full-service lettings and property management offer.
Belvoir Hull was operated by Kuljeet Aujla, who selected Northwood Beverley and Hull to manage his portfolio.
“Kuljeet’s confidence has enabled a smooth transition,” said Ounsworth. “We are committed to continuing the excellent service landlords and tenants in Hull have come to expect. Kuljeet will now focus on expanding his Belvoir office in Grimsby, while the Hull portfolio continues under Northwood’s management.”
As a locally owned business, Northwood Beverley and Hull remains focused on growth.
“As an agency, we prioritise building long-term relationships with landlords, tenants, property vendors and buyers across Hull and East Yorkshire, ensuring that expansion does not come at the expense of personalised service,” Ounsworth added.
Phil Gee, managing director of Northwood, commented: “It’s fantastic to see the continued growth of Northwood Beverley and Hull under John’s leadership. This acquisition reflects the strength of the local team, their commitment to exceptional customer service, and the value of combining strong local knowledge with the support of a national brand. We look forward to supporting their ongoing expansion across Hull and East Yorkshire.”
With funding in place, Northwood Beverley and Hull adds that it is “committed to sustainable growth and remains open to confidential discussions with letting agents and property investors across Hull and East Yorkshire who may be considering a sale”.
