An estate agency office has been hit by a vehicle for the second time in three months, after a stolen car was driven into the frontage of Property Link earlier this week.
Emergency services were called to Smithdown Road in the Wavertree area following reports that the car had been rammed into the premises, causing visible damage to the shutters. Police confirmed the occupants fled the scene, and the vehicle was later recovered nearby. No injuries were reported, and an investigation is ongoing.
The latest incident follows a similar attack in November 2025, when a stolen van crashed into the same building, with the driver again fleeing on foot moments later. Images from the scene at the time showed the van lodged in the doorway, with the driver’s door left open.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said officers received a report at around 9.20pm that a stolen white Transit van had reversed into the estate agency before the driver ran off towards Liverpool city centre. No injuries were reported, and the building was assessed by a structural engineer.

Usually, I complain about the endless red tape in this industry, but clearly, what this office needed was actual red tape—enough of it to wrap the building twice. It’s the only thing that might have slowed that van down.
