The EA Masters took place yesterday at Evolution London, bringing together more than 1,000 estate agents and industry suppliers.
The event featured the Best Estate Agent Guide Awards, the People Awards, the Innovation & Improvement Awards, and the Supplier Awards.
Television presenter Kirsty Gallacher hosted the ceremony, which recognised achievements across the sector.
Sparks Ellison was named Sales & Letting Agency of the Year, while Gareth Samples received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Simon Brown and Christopher Watkin were both recognised with Outstanding Contribution Awards.
Location Location won Sales Agency of the Year, and Entwistle Green took home the Lettings Agency of the Year title.
Peter Knight, founder of the Best Estate Agent Guide and EA Masters, said: “We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of everyone who took home an award at this year’s EA Masters.
“These represent the top-performing agents in the UK, setting the benchmark for excellence in customer service, expertise, and results. Winning a place in the Best Estate Agent Guide is a mark of distinction, earned through consistent dedication to delivering an exceptional client experience.

Oh wow, not bad for a “pay-to-win” award! Because nothing says “prestige” like buying your own trophy. Let’s be honest—who even cares who wins? It’s all a bit of made-up nonsense anyway. They just pass the awards around each year to keep everyone playing along. In the end, it’s just agents flexing to each other while the public couldn’t give a flying pig.

ABSOLUTLY
The general public could not give a tinker’s cuss about this rubbish
These awards are awful
All have:
Average food
Tiny potions
Rubbish wine
A load of pontificating and mutual backslapping
Fat old guys in a tux getting drunk
Utterly hideous – ghastly

So, so true. These awards “ceremonies” are generally an opportunity for subscribers of questionable marketing support to win some sort of gong for their loyalty.
As a past winner of a similar award, the prestige is fleeting. As others have noted, the public (NB that’s our target market guys) are laughably disinterested.
But if you want to pay for a table for your staff in some second rate banqueting suite in London, go for it. You might get a kiss from a minor celeb. I did !
Never been the same since.
