CEO of Yopa Verona Frankish named Woman of the Year

Verona Frankish

Verona Frankish, CEO of Yopa, has been named Woman of the Year – Residential (Consultancy / Other Services) at the 2025 Inspiring Women in Property Awards, in recognition of her role within the company and wider contributions to the property sector.

Frankish was recognised for her leadership since becoming Yopa’s first female CEO in 2022. Under her direction, the business has undergone a significant transformation. Over the past year, Yopa has increased its agent headcount by 30%, grown revenue by 26%, improved gross profit by 41%, and reduced operating losses by 59%.

She has also played a prominent role in promoting diversity and inclusion within the industry through her work as Chair of Women in Estate Agency (WiEA), a network of over 4,600 members. Over the past year, WiEA has launched The Power of You leadership programme, secured a multi-year partnership with Rightmove, and held its annual conference, now a well-established sector event.

The Inspiring Women in Property Awards recognise individuals who have made a meaningful impact across the UK property industry, both through business performance and by championing wider change.

Frankish commented: “I’m incredibly honoured to receive this award and to be recognised alongside so many inspiring women who are helping to shape the future of our industry.

“This achievement is not just mine, it’s a reflection of the incredible people I’m privileged to work with every day, both at Yopa and through Women in Estate Agency.

“Together, we’re breaking barriers, changing perceptions, and building an industry where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.”

Very well deserved. Verona is an industry leader that is not only highly competent but one that dares to put her head above the publicity parapet.

    Unlike many.
