The boss of Foxtons, CEO Michael Brown, is taking compassionate leave, the firm said yesterday.
It gave no reasons and declined to comment on the length of the leave.
In a statement, Foxtons chairman Gary Watts said he would be working closely with chief operating officer Nic Budden and chief finance office Gerard Nieslony to ensure the smooth running of the business during Brown’s absence.
This company has seen big changes in the last 5 years, and are slowly but surely losing their bad reputation. They still over value but are at least a lot more transparent.

"Compassionate leave" does not bode well. Hopefully Mr Brown will be back at the helm in the near future and I wish him well in whatever circumstances dictate this absence.
