Historic estate agency celebrates 120 years and new rebrand with special event

Salisbury-based estate agency Myddelton & Major has celebrated its 120th anniversary with the launch of a refreshed brand identity and a special event held at Salisbury Cathedral.

The milestone rebrand includes a new logo, contemporary colour palette, and a revitalised digital presence, all brought together under the strapline “Making Moves Matter.” The updated identity features a modernised wordmark, new signage, and a redesigned website—developed in partnership with Wilton-based creative agency Unstuck Studios.

The agency unveiled its new look during a celebration at The Refectory in Salisbury Cathedral last week. The event was attended by local MP John Glen, Mayor John Wells, and a number of invited guests from the local community and property industry.

Philip Holford, managing partner at Myddelton & Major, addressed attendees and members of the local press, saying: ““From our Salisbury and Stockbridge offices, we are proud to continue that legacy and feel that our new branding and business voice reflects our ambition to build upon that as a modern, forward-thinking business, with strong professional values.

“‘Making Moves Matter’ represents everything we do, selling, letting and managing commercial and residential properties.

“We care about people and their properties.”

The new branding and signage has appeared throughout the city and surrounding area since the changes were introduced.

Carl Groth, founder and creative director at Unstuck Studio, added: “As a business, they are flying.

“Celebrating the team and the experience they have got is vital.

“The rebrand reflects their friendly approach and that experience. It’s making sure that messaging is coherent.”
