New self-employed hybrid estate agency platform launches

Alisa Zotimova

AZ Real Estate has launched a new UK-wide hybrid estate agency platform as it looks to capitalise on the continued growth of the self-employed agency sector.

The new venture, AZ Alliance, aims to provide experienced agents with the tools, brand, and support to operate independently while benefiting from the backing of an established firm.

The company has provisionally confirmed its first signing — a well-established agent currently at JLL — who is expected to join the platform in the coming days. An official announcement is said to be imminent.

“AZ Alliance is about giving agents the freedom to be entrepreneurs without being alone,” said founder and CEO of AZ Real Estate, Alisa Zotimova.

The current hybrid model has two offerings: Build (aimed at agents with 1+ year experience) and Elevate (for agents with 3+ years of experience.

“Having successfully transitioned from big corporate agency life to launching and building a strong track record with AZ Real Estate, we’re now creating a space where agents can flourish, supported by a brand that values integrity, excellence, and human connection, backed by the experience of a team that has walked the walk,” Zotimova added.

If you were going to go the self employed route why would you choose to go with a new start up? Surely an established, proven brand such as EXP would be your natural choice? I am not with EXP by the way.

Dear Veteran, Alisa here, the founder of AZ Alliance, how are you?
It’s almost like you set me up for a great talking point with this question, so thank you! Of course, will try to keep it brief. As a business “mum” i can talk about my work “baby” for ages 🙂
Let me mention some reasons you may want to start here with us vs Exp and a few others that are already better know (in no particular order:
    – quantity vs quality: there are thousands of exp people globally and around 800 in the uk already; I care about tens in my Alliance, not hundreds. But i want and will support the ones who actually perform and focus on their fees as opposed to collecting my membership dues.
    – generic vs personal: from attention to each of my ally’s needs, to being able to talk to me in person and have time with me as a mentor (i’m kind of a “veteran” myself: 23 years and counting), to knowing who the founder/owner of the program actually is (stockholders in the States vs me here really involved day-to-day)
    – of all this with possibly more fees to the broker and without the “pyramid” component of having to lure new people in, Alliance’s set-up is much more straightforward
I could go on but would be bad to hog comments here… Trust me when i say i did my homework in setting this up 🙂 And when i did, i just confirmed that the “pie” is still big enough and there is a need out there for both Alliance, exp and even other good ones. So i’m confident we will find our tribe before too long! Come chat in person 🙂
