Zoopla and Checkatrade, a major platform for home improvement, have announced a new strategic partnership.
The collaboration integrates Checkatrade’s network of over 51,000 tradespeople directly into Zoopla’s listing and property detail pages, providing consumers with easy access to home improvement services.
The partnership aims to help consumers when making buying decisions by offering a one-stop solution for finding tradespeople.
Whether a buyer needs an inspection, renovation, or repair, or a seller wants to ensure their property is in top condition before listing, Checkatrade is prominently featured on the Zoopla website and app.
Dickson Abegunde, director of strategic Partnerships at Zoopla, said: “This partnership aligns with our ambition to make the home-buying and home-improvement journey as smooth and stress-free as possible. By integrating Checkatrade, we are providing our consumers with access to a network of trusted tradespeople right at their fingertips.”
Sebastien de Bandt, chief marketing officer at Checkatrade, added: “The partnership means consumers visiting Zoopla can submit a job request directly, without leaving the Zoopla site. We are excited to bring the peace of mind that Checkatrade provides to Zoopla’s vast audience, ensuring they can confidently tackle any home improvement needs.”
