Thames Valley agent Davis Tate, part of LSLi, has announced the acquisition of Yates Lettings.
Yates, formerly Hodsons Lettings, has a portfolio of properties in Abingdon, Didcot and Wantage, Oxfordshire.
These properties will now be managed by Davis Tate, which is also due to open a new office on Didcot Broadway next month.
Yates managing director Robin Yates is soon to retire, but will remain on a consultancy basis during the transition to Davis Tate.
Yates said: “We let and manage some great properties, and the time has come for us to join with a larger portfolio. This will ensure that our clients continue to receive a first-class service.”
Matthew Davis, joint managing director of Davis Tate, said: “Experienced people are essential to our business, and we are delighted to welcome the Yates staff into the Davis Tate fold.”
Davis Tate was established in 1991 and now manages more than 2,000 properties for landlords from the UK and 57 overseas locations.
