Updated environmental reports designed to accelerate property transactions

Landmark Information Group has updated its environmental search reports in a  bid to help conveyancers speed up property transactions.

This latest release within Landmark’s residential product portfolio delivers data-rich reports, equipping conveyancers with the insights needed to confidently provide expert advice and make informed, data-driven decisions for their clients.

The new and upgraded environmental reports are designed to streamline complex information, and help conveyancers advise clients on potential environmental risks more quickly.

Landmark says implementing user feedback has been central to developing its product portfolio. When Landmark interviewed conveyancers, 60% of respondents believed it was important that all data searched was shown in maps and detailed tables. Further, 50% stated that they wanted one report to cover all risks with full analysis. Finally, 89% of users stated that they needed a report that could be understood by both conveyancers and homebuyers.

Landmark says key features of the updated residential environmental risk reports include a streamlined design, a ‘no search required’ certification, homebuyer-friendly design, and climate change reporting modules.

Chris Loaring, managing director of Landmark Legal, commented: “We know from speaking to conveyancers that they are under immense pressure to get transactions processed as quickly – and accurately – as possible. Our remastered environmental reports have been designed with this in mind, providing clear, comprehensive data in a format that’s easy to use and understand. By streamlining access to critical environmental insights, we’re helping conveyancers save valuable time while delivering the confidence they need to advise their clients effectively.”
