Leaders Romans Group (LRG) has completed the acquisition of GPS Lettings, a well-established lettings agency based in South Darenth, Dartford.
This purchase marks another significant milestone in LRG’s ongoing expansion strategy, enhancing its already strong presence in the Dartford lettings market.
GPS Lettings was established in 2003 by founders Mike O’Brien and Debbie Jones. Over the last 20 years, they have built a lettings-only business.
Moving forward, GPS Lettings will operate under the Acorn brand from Acorn’s existing premises in Dartford. This transition will involve all current GPS Lettings staff, ensuring clients experience a smooth handover and continuity of service.
While the founders will support the transition, they will step down once it’s complete, entrusting LRG to carry on their legacy.
GPS Lettings’ outgoing owner, Debbie Jones, commented: “We’ve built GPS Lettings on a foundation of local knowledge, trust, and customer service. Now, with the backing of LRG and Acorn, we are confident that our clients will benefit from an expanded range of services, resources, and expertise.”
Matt Light, group mergers and acquisitions director at LRG, said: “This is our fourth acquisition in the last two months, with a growing pipeline of further deals set to close in the coming quarter. Acquiring GPS Lettings strengthens our market share in Dartford and supports LRG’s wider goal of reinforcing our presence in key regional markets.”
