Alto announces integration with HomeLet tenant referencing

Alto, the estate agency software and part of Houseful, has announced a new integration with HomeLet, the tenant referencing specialist.

This integration is the latest move by Alto and HomeLet to drive efficiencies for letting agents and was prioritised as a result of direct agent feedback.

HomeLet provides circa 1,000,000 tenant references a year for over 4,000 agents. It offers a range of services including intelligent tenant referencing through its innovative VISTA solution, a tenancy management platform that comes without a monthly subscription fee, and a proposition designed to generate extra income for letting agents.

The integration with Alto aims to allow Alto customers to leverage the data shared between the two products, making it easier to use HomeLet’s services and insights into Alto.  Agents who utilise the integration will also benefit from an improved customer journey for their clients, as well as the opportunity to earn commission.

Homelet is the 17th PropTech to join Alto Marketplace, and the 9th lettings-specific integration. The marketplace enables agents to customise their CRM to suit their needs and drive business efficiencies as a result.

Tara Lynch, head of product at Alto, said: “We’re constantly looking to improve the range of partners we provide to agents on Alto Marketplace and partnering with HomeLet, the largest referencing provider in the UK, was an obvious choice, particularly as the integration was requested by a number of existing Alto customers.”

Mike Dawson, head of sales at HomeLet, added: “One of our key strategic initiatives when developing our new platform Vision+ was around integration. We now integrate with a number of suppliers across the PRS, reducing double data entry and unnecessary additional admin for our partner Agents. We have a number of joint customers, and we are pleased to provide those and future new customers with the benefits of this integration”
