Zoopla has launched a new service which provides its users with access to home-related professionals and tradesmen.
The new service is in partnership with Plentific, a property website for which Zoopla provides property listings.
The Find a Pro service, which will be available on both Zoopla and PrimeLocation, will offer access to a network of over 35,000 tradespeople and professionals in categories including surveyors, architects, electricians, locksmiths, and gardeners.
The businesses can showcase themselves in full, including their people, past projects, customer ratings and reviews, associated memberships and accreditations.
Basic level Find a Prop membership is free, but Plentific charges businesses a commission once a job has been completed, with the progress of jobs being tracked.
There is also a review system on site allowing clients to leave opinions.
While basis membership is free, there is also a premium level membership available at a monthly fee.
Plentific was launched last year by former investment bankers and property developers Cem Savas and Emre Kazan as a property portal with a difference.
As well as property listings, its features give users the ability to work out travel time from the property to places of work, likely mortgage requirements and costs, and the ability to contact an agent. Users can also access mortgage and legal advice, and “property coaches” – or buyer’s agents. The site makes its money when users sign up to any one of these.
I used this precise model to build my business through networking. It is a Property Power Team. Instead of receiving a fee for referrals within this network group, I received referrals from them in the form of introductions to homeowners thinking of selling (MAs). Building up your own network of property professionals and passing and receiving business is the way ahead and saves massive costs on generic advertisement for new business.

Sorry…. is this a Press Release from JAM01?… I thought it was Bloopla launching their next Woolworths Pic n’ Mix product using their paying estate agency members property stock as the open door to their New World of Candy.
Thankfully, being a local High Street Estate Agent I can recommend or not Local Trades…. with no inducements whatsoever to me.
Bloopa Hot Dogs…. coming to a Cinema near you soon…. first advertising next to your house on their website!…. Mustard anyone?
