A Manchester-based proptech company is set to scale up its operations across the UK, supported by the appointment of a new marketing lead.
Katie O’Brien has joined Symple to help with what the company calls “ambitious growth plans”, which include expanding its suite of digital services.
Symple is a free online property compliance platform designed to streamline portfolio management for landlords and property agencies. Part of the wider Kinsbury Group, the company said it is on a mission to become the “Amazon of property compliance services”.
The new appointment will support the company in expanding its suite of digital services, with O’Brien responsible for delivering strategic initiatives that enhance brand awareness and drive market presence for the tech firm, as well as overseeing all brand communications.
She will also play an instrumental role in launching the property compliance platform’s new products and services to key audiences, helping to better serve the buy-to-let market.
O’Brien has more than a decade of marketing experience, including nine years in the property industry.
Simon Dresdner, founder and CEO of Symple, said: “Welcoming Katie to head up our marketing department was the next natural step for us. We’ve got an exciting 12 months ahead, with several new services and partnerships in the pipeline to broaden our offering.”
O’Brien said: “Joining the Symple team at such an exciting time has been a fantastic opportunity. I look forward to creating campaigns that reflect the innovative and ambitious nature of the company.”
