Property group Eddisons has made two promotions to director in its Pugh auctions team.
Based in Manchester and leading activity across the north of England for Pugh, which forms part of Eddisons’ auctions division, Will Thompson and Ed Feather have both been promoted to director.
Pugh’s auction clients span local authorities, private individuals and corporate sellers across the UK.
Eddisons said the pair have been instrumental in driving the growth of the auctions business. The company’s acquisition of Nottingham-based SDL Property Auctions and Sheffield auction house Mark Jenkinson last year increased the number of auction lots offered annually by the firm to over 3,000.
Part of a programme of 17 promotions across the firm nationally, the move comes as Eddisons continues an aggressive growth strategy which has seen ten acquisitions since 2015, four of which were completed in 2023. The business now employs more than 500 people across 30 offices UK wide.
Eddisons North West regional director Phil Deakin said: “Congratulations to Will and Ed, who have received these well-deserved promotions. Eddisons is one of the fastest growing property firms in the UK and that is down to the excellence, expertise and passion of our people.
“As an employer we believe in nurturing talent, from our thriving apprenticeship programme to helping staff at all levels to progress, and this latest round of promotions is further testament to the success of that strategy.”
