Dawsons Partnership announce leadership changes

Dawsons has announced announce several key changes within its leadership team, effective immediately as the South Wales based independently owned estate agency continues to evolve and expand its range of property services.

After years of dedicated service, Chris Hope has transitioned to the role of property consultant, serving as a valuable asset to Dawsons. He will continue to represent Dawsons as its familiar face and will maintain many years of already established relationships.

Ricky Purdy has now become one of the four business Partners. Ricky Purdy’s journey with Dawsons began in 2000 with a temporary two-week position in Mumbles lettings. Over the years he has risen through the ranks to become the director of residential lettings and now assumes the role of partner, contributing to the firm’s strategic direction while continuing his day-to-day responsibilities.

Joining Dawsons as the fourth business partner is Robert Camm from CLC Estate Management. He started his career with Dawsons as a Graduate Surveyor before establishing CLC. And now returning to where it started for Rob, under the Dawsons umbrella, CLC will provide specialised ‘Block Management’ services for both residential and commercial properties, enhancing the firm’s comprehensive property service offerings.

James Dawson will continue his role focusing on commercial activities and valuations, with Rob’s support. Additionally, Tim will maintain his responsibilities heading up their Land & New Homes department, while taking on a more operational role within the company.

Joanne Summerfield-Talbot continues her pivotal role as the director of residential sales, overseeing this crucial department. Sharran Jones will continue as the practice manager, now supported by Tracy Roberts, the new finance officer.

 

Brightbay Real Estate Partners strengthens senior team

Brightbay Real Estate Partners has appointed George Jerram as a director of Asset Management and promoted a further three colleagues to director to strengthen its senior management team and support its growth strategy.

Jerram joins the company from Chancerygate, the property developer, investor and asset manager specialising in the UK’s urban logistics and industrial warehousing sectors, where he had been a Director in its Asset Management department since March 2019. In that role Jerram was responsible for its industrial portfolio, including both its balance sheet and third party asset management mandates, and was involved in the acquisition of properties for those mandates. Prior to joining Chancerygate, George held roles at Square Metre Asset Management and Colliers International.

Brightbay has also promoted Mary Hedges, Sarah Jones and Sarah Moon to Director. The appointments strengthen the senior management team in order to support recent and anticipated future growth in assets under management.

Hartnell Taylor Cook announces a round of senior promotions

Hartnell Taylor Cook has announced a round of senior promotions across the business, with six people promoted to director alongside further promotions for senior associate directors, associate directors, senior surveyors and senior facilities managers.

The move follows plans announced t0 consolidate and grow its public sector, property management, operations, and facility management teams whilst continuing to build on its agency business.

In the first four months of the year the business averaged around four new hires each month – equating to a c. 20% increase in head count since last financial year end – as increased demand for its services resulted in several new client wins, as well as a broader scope of services being offered across the company’s London and Bristol offices.

The six director promotions have been announced as part of 12 promotions across the agency, consultancy, property management and facilities management teams.

Stuart Howell, Managing Partner, said: “Hartnell Taylor Cook has a century of success behind it and the key to that is our people. This investment in people is reflected in the fact that the longest length of service of those being promoted is 20 years.

The new directors are Natalie Bennett, Kate Flaherty, Leanne Jonas, Kevin Mills, Michelle Goodfellow and Will Freston; the new senior associate directors are Harry Brunsdon, Beth Bennett and Steven Shaw; the new Associate Director, Charles Dennis; the new Senior Surveyor, Freddie Myatt; and the new Senior Facilities Manager, Patricia Jackson.
