Housing minister Lee Rowley will be taking centre stage at the Propertymark One Conference in June.
The event, which will take place on 14 June, will provide agents with an opportunity to hear directly from the minister, who will share the latest insight on leasehold and freehold reform, building safety, renters reform, regulation and redress from the heart of government.
Rowley returned to the post of housing minister in November 2013, replacing Rachel Maclean who was sacked from the role by the prime minister Rishi Sunak. He was first elected as the Conservative MP for North East Derbyshire on 8 June 2017.
Jason Lee, head of commercial at Propertymark, said: “We are delighted to announce that the Housing Minister will be giving a keynote address to members and the wider industry at our Propertymark One Conference in June.
“Key changes to housing legislation are going through Parliament that will impact the housing and property sector, so delegates will hear directly how the UK Government’s plans will impact them and their businesses. Propertymark agents have a key role to play in ensuring the regulations are implemented, and by attending, will know how they can play their part in the roll out of reforms.”
Yet another housing minister!
Welc…
Oh, bye then.
