Websters, a family-run independent sales and letting agency, has agreed to take over Norfolk Broads based sales agency Pendefords, which has been successfully selling properties in the area for the past five years.
Lucy and Gareth Headland, owners of Pendefords, have decided to pursue a slightly different direction in property with their love of marketing and digital media and will be announcing their new venture in due course. The pair will continue working together for a period to enable the smooth transition of clients and properties.
This is Websters’ forth major milestone in recent years, with their purchases of Savannah Estates, First Lettings Norwich and Langfords Estates.
Charlie Webster, managing director of Websters, commented: “I am delighted we are able to open our second branch in the perfect location for our brand and an area we already know very well.
“We we presented with the opportunity to take over from Pendefords and I instantly knew it was the right opportunity to expand our business. Whilst the property market has been difficult in the last year we are already seeing signs of recovery and I believe now is the time to extend our coverage to North Norfolk & The Broads. It also brings me great pleasure in announcing that Jack Deeley-Nobbs will be our new Branch Manager at Coltishall. Jack lives locally and has worked in the area for many years.”
Lucy and Gareth Headland issued a joint statement: “Since we started the business from home five years ago, we’ve successfully grown Pendefords into an award-winning village agency, which is part of the local community. It’s time for us to move on, and it was important to us to ensure that we chose a professional agent to continue the good personal relationships that we’ve built with our clients over the years.
“Websters tick every box, and we’re confident that our clients will enjoy working with them in the future.”
“All Pendefords clients have been notified of the procedure for the transition over to Websters.”
Websters will be officially opening their new Coltishall branch on the 5 March 2024.
