Agents overvaluing and undercharging is not an excuse to lose the listing on the right terms

This week’s Agents MVMT podcast ‘Pass the Syrup’, presented by Ben Madden, features Adam Mackay of Mackay Property, Jamie Minors of Minors & Brady Estate Agents and Tania Cannon of Cannon & Co Sales and Lettings.

The guests discuss what honest agents can do to win listings at the right price, and the right fee, when other agents over value and undercharge. It is not uncommon to hear an agent complain about the quality of the competition, it is the perfect excuse for not winning an instruction, the other agent gave them a higher valuation, or even more common, is charging a lower fee.
