Rachel Riley and Dermot Murnaghan to co-host EA Masters

The 2023 EA Masters is set to be hosted by television presenter Rachel Riley MBE and former broadcaster Dermot Murnaghan.

Countdown’s numbers expert Rachel and Royal Television Society Interviewer of the Year Dermot will take to the stage at Evolution London on November 7, for the biggest event in the estate agency calendar.

Rachel Riley has appeared on Room 101, Top Gear and Would I Lie To You (BBC), as well as co-presenting It’s Not Rocket Science for ITV. She has also appeared on several TV quiz shows raising money for charity including: Celebrity Mastermind, Pointless Celebrities (BBC 1), The Chase (ITV), The Bank Job, Million Pound Drop and Fifteen to One (Channel 4).

Dermot Murnaghan anchored Sky’s flagship news show for 15 years, presenting ‘Sky News with Dermot Murnaghan’. He previously presented BBC Breakfast, Treasure Hunt, Eggheads, Celebrity Eggheads and Are You An Egghead? (BBC2), The State We’re In (BBC 3), Crimes That Shook Britain (CI) and has previously fronted Sky’s Sunday morning political programme, ‘Murnaghan’.

Speaking about the announcement, Peter Knight, founder of Property Academy and organiser of EA Masters, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have two incredibly talented and well-known household names hosting this year’s conference and we can’t wait to welcome everybody to another fantastic and inspiring event.”

Over the last two decades, agents have navigated the highs and lows brought on by a financial crash, Brexit, the global pandemic and a cost-of-living crisis, but Knight says the rollercoasting property market has now entered yet another phase, which will be explored at the upcoming event.

“The current period isn’t one of boom or bust, it’s not as straightforward,” he said. “It’s characterised by the military term ‘VUCA’ – Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity. Agents need a plan to navigate these choppy waters and that is what they will get at this year’s EA Masters.”

The conference at EA Masters has a reputation for providing information, insight, ideas and inspiration and this year’s programme is set to be the best yet. Created with some of the very best estate agency business owners in the country, the EA MasterPlan is a seven-part, proven guide to profitable growth in all aspects of agency: lettings, property management, sales, land & new homes, and financial services.

This year’s programme is more immersive than ever before and will offer information and ideas to help you remodel your business, automate systems and processes, improve your communication, become more effective and achieve record profits.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from Mike Clare and Richard Harpin, two of Britain’s most successful business leaders, who will share their incredible stories of growing companies from nothing to valuations of £222million and £4billion.

They will also have access to the Innovation Hall, where over 50 leading suppliers will showcase their latest innovations and product developments.

To top it off, all attendees will receive a copy of ‘Thriving in Uncertainty’ – the latest publication from Property Academy, which is based on interviews with 20 agency business owners and what they’re implementing right now in their businesses.

Peter Knight added: “The EA Masters is without doubt the estate agency event of the year, and it’s where the very best agency owners will be gathered on November 7 at Evolution London.

“If you’re looking to find ways to thrive in uncertainty, then EA Masters is where you need to be.”

Yet another ward ceremony of mutual backslapping rubbish
The public do not give a poo about these awards
The only people they are good for are the organisers who make a load of profit from the gullible
