Strictly star to host estate agency podcast

Hamptons has announced it will release a new series of podcasts that will begin to air today and run until the end of the year.

The series, There’s No Place Like Home, will consist of five themed episodes hosted by radio and TV presenter, Anita Rani.

Rani became a household name when she participated in the 13th series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she reached the semi-finals. Following this, she hosted the 2017 Strictly Tour around Britain, replacing previous host Mel Giedroyc. She also returned for 2018’s Christmas special of Strictly Come Dancing alongside Caroline Flack and Aston Merrygold.

The podcast will take its listeners on a journey through the process of home ownership, starting with a useful guide to buying a house and moving through the different chapters of making a house a home. Along with Anita Rani as the host, each episode will welcome special guests.

The lineup includes a list of instantly recognisable names including; Amanda Lamb, James Wong, Laura Jackson, Micaela Sharp, Dom Wood, and Crystelle Pereira.

Hamptons first ever podcast series will be accessible to listeners through Spotify and Apple Podcasts, and all episodes will also be filmed and available to watch on YouTube and on the Hamptons website.

Lesley Cairns, MD at Hamptons, said: “We have created a series of podcasts that offers home movers the opportunity to have all their questions answered by Hamptons’ home experts and other big names in the industry. Each episode explores a different element, from interior design, and garden tips to home cooking and so much more!

“We are thrilled to be working with Anita Rani and a wide variety of house-hold names to provide our listeners and viewers access to all the information they need in a fun and entertaining way.”

Fiona Stewart, head of marketing & PR at Hamptons, added: “Moving house and making your house a home is both a joyous, but at times a demanding experience. Every year we help over 120,000 buyers and tenants move home and as the home experts we wanted to share some of those experiences to help put homeowners at ease by providing them with five advice driven and engaging episodes that take them through the process of moving, creating spaces to enjoy and ways to transform their home.

“Working with Anita Rani and many identifiable names in the industry on this has been remarkable and has enabled us to bring our ideas to life. We are delighted with the outcome and hope our audience will be too.”
