Well-established agency completes acquisition of rival firm

Southernbrook Lettings, which has offices in Chichester, Bognor Regis and Gosport, has completed the acquisition of Cocoon Lettings.

This is the second major acquisition and merger for the firm within the past 12 months, having also purchased David Seymour’s of Gosport and Portsmouth last year.

Cocoon Lettings, established in 2012, in Kingston upon Thames (SW London), has long operated within three major towns along the ‘A3 corridor’ including Guildford and Haslemere.

Cocoon has a large residential portfolio covering the towns of Kingston-Upon-Thames, Guildford and Haslemere. This gives Southernbrook a strong presence now in Surrey as well as Sussex and Hampshire.

Southernbrook group’s managing director, Louis Musgrove, told EYE: “We are tremendously excited to be taking over Cocoon Lettings. This expansion will give even more landlords, tenants, and estates access to our state of art system management and maintenance platforms and provide a footprint for future growth.”

“We would like to welcome the team from Cocoon into the Southernbrook group,” he added. “Further expansion is in the pipeline so watch this space!”
