In the fifth episode of OnTheMarket’s recently launched OnTheRecord podcast, the property portal’s CEO, Jason Tebb, will be joined by Peter Ambrose, the founder of conveyancing specialist The Partnership.
The episode will focus on the current state of the conveyancing sector, with some agents believing that the system is currently broken and needs fixing. But that is not a viewed shared by Ambrose.
In his latest piece for EYE, which you can read in full below, he wrote: “Let’s deal with the age-old argument that the conveyancing process is broken and we need to start again. That argument is for the birds – it’s not going to happen, so let’s not waste any more time on it. If it was broken, no-one would move at all – which is what hundreds of thousands of people do every month. Granted, many would prefer a day at Chessington World of Adventures than the seemingly unending pain of this opaque process, but fundamentally it works.
“The real problem is the system is not broken enough.”
You will soon be to hear his views, while interviews with previous guests are avaiable to listen to now OnTheRecord podcast, which you can access here.
