Charters sponsors inaugural Southern Landlord Show

Charters in Southampton is sponsoring the first Southern Landlord Show that will bring together professionals from all areas of the private rented sector market to offer expert advice to the region’s buy-to-let investors.

The Southern Landlord Show will be held on Thursday 16 June at Charters’ Southampton showroom at Stag Gates on The Avenue, from 2pm to 6pm. Entry is free and exclusive to landlords whether they have an established portfolio or are thinking about renting a property for the first time.

The event will see Dutton Gregory and Azets on hand to provide legal and tax advice respectively for landlords while AccessiblePRS, the specialists in making homes accessible for those living with disabilities, will also attend.

They will be joined by buy-to-let mortgage specialists from the Charters Mortgage Hub and Nichecom, Alan Boswell Group will be giving advice to landlords concerning rent guarantee insurance and other landlord insurance products, while teams from Charters Lettings branches will all be available to give’ expert advice’ on all aspects of residential property rental.

“The lettings market is currently experiencing one of its most challenging periods,” said Suzanne Diamond, Charters lettings director. “It’s the perfect time for landlords with existing properties and those who are considering entering the rental market to discover how to manage their portfolios more efficiently to optimise their returns and give their tenants a better lettings experience.”

She added: “The Southern Landlord Show will give them the opportunity to talk to experts in their field about everything from property management, taxation matters, buy-to-let mortgages, accessibility matters, EPC changes and the latest legislative advice that can be difficult to navigate and remain compliant with at the best of times.”
