Muuvo, a utility technology platform for agents and tenants, has formed a new partnership with Canopy, the creators of the RentPassport and RentTracking products
The integration is designed to enhance the Muuvo product, which enables agents and tenants to undertake and complete all utility registrations on new tenancies,
Muuvo also provides agents with a complete property profile that includes a property’s council tax band, a requirement to be disclosed under National Trading Standards’ recently announced focus on the provision of material information.
Canopy’s RentPassport enables the pre-qualification and reference checking of tenants and the results can be used by tenants as a “passport” to showcase their track record to agents and future landlords.
Canopy’s RentTracking enables a tenant to report their rental payments to Experian, Equifax and Transunion to improve their credit history and credit score. The aim is to assist a tenant with any future financial plans and landlords and agents benefit because tenants are significantly less likely to miss payments or fall into arrears.
Jamie Parks, founder of Muuvo, said: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Canopy and that both RentPassport and RentTracking are now fully integrated within the Muuvo platform, enabling a “one stop” secure and automated environment through which to transact.”
Chris Hutchinson, CEO of Canopy, added: “The vision and ambitions of both ourselves and Muuvo are completely aligned in seeking to improve the rental process for all parties – agents, landlords and tenants – we are doing this through technological innovation that makes everything simpler, faster and with a focus on beautiful user experiences. We are delighted to be working with Jamie and the team.”
