New head of sales at Knight Frank in St John’s Wood

Knight Frank in St John’s Wood has appointed a new partner, who will also be head of sales.

Neir Gigi, who joins from Goldschmidt & Howland, has more than 23 years’ experience of the central and north-west London property markets.

In his new role, Gigi will focus on sales in the prime and super-prime markets. He will also be responsible for driving the firm’s market share in the area and managing the team of six negotiators. He takes over from James Simpson, who led the team for 20 years, and who is now retiring to focus on new projects.

“With his exceptional track-record and first-class reputation, I’m sure he will be a great asset to the firm and provide the very best service for our clients in this key market.”

Horton and Garton appoint a new managing director

Horton and Garton in west London has promoted Ashley Clements to the position of managing director.

Clements has held a number of positions with the company, having worked as a negotiator, lettings manager, branch manager, and now MD.

John Horton, owner and director, commented: “In his [Clement’s] 14 years with Horton and Garton, we’ve gone from ‘new kid on the block’ to market leader, with Ashley positively impacting each segment of the business and producing exceptional results for our clients every step of the way.

Foundation Home Loans appoints two national sales managers

Foundation Home Loans has appointed two national sales managers.

Nathan Goodridge, who joins the company from OSB Group, has 12 years experience of working in financial services, having previously worked for lenders such as Lloyds Banking Group, Metro Bank and NatWest.

Paula Priest is already an employee at Foundation, where she was national account manager for clubs and networks prior to moving into her new role as a national sales manager.

Grant Hendry, head of sales said: “Their key responsibilities will be working with our club, network and packager partners as this is an essential part of our ongoing business. They will also be supporting our field-based sales team and playing an active part in helping them to grow relationships with advisers.

“With Nathan’s and Paula’s experience they will ensure our business continues to evolve in this ever-competitive and challenging market.”
