Knight Frank appoints new head of lettings in Southbank office

Knight Frank has appointed Oliver Hepplewhite, an associate within the firm, as head of lettings in Southbank.

Hepplewhite has wide-ranging residential lettings experience, much of which has been developed at Knight Frank, having started his career at the firm in 2018 as a negotiator in the Battersea & Riverside office before he rose to associate, in 2021.

In his new role, he will be responsible for building upon Knight Frank’s established brand and market share in the local area, as well as leading the team of lettings negotiators.

Hepplewhite commented: “This progressive step in my career is hugely exciting – I am very much looking forward to growing our presence in Southbank, furthering the teams’ success and building upon the strong brand reputation.”

Belvoir Birmingham relocates to new city centre premises

Belvoir Birmingham, which is run by Major and Bal Mahil, has relocated to a new city centre premises.

The franchise has been located in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter for the past 15 years, but has decided the time is right to move to a larger office to accommodate more staff.

“We outgrew our offices and have therefore relocated to new, larger premises in the heart of the city centre,” said Major Mahil. “We are now in a prime location on Paradise Circus, which is opposite Birmingham’s Town Hall, and very close to New Street station.”

He continued: “Belvoir Birmingham Central is very much a family business, with my wife Bal a co-director, and my son Reiss working as a negotiator.

“There are numerous property management agencies in Birmingham, but Belvoir is probably now the only agency that is located right in the centre of the city, and we think that this really helps to set us apart from the competition.”

Sprift promotes Amy Shields to sales director 

Sprift has promoted Amy Shields to sales director as the company accelerates growth in the year ahead.

In her new role with the property data specialist, Shields will be responsible for managing the expanded business development team and delivering new product and data launches throughout 2022.
