An estate agency network in France is recruiting British agents keen on a change of lifestyle.
Sextant Properties, a well-established estate agency in France, recently received a €5m (£4.2m) investment from Paris-based venture capital firm Inter Invest Capital.
The financial boost aims to help Sextant grow its network of agents which also already includes a number of British estate agents who embraced their move to France full-time in order to be a part of the team.
Sextant Properties, a member of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA), is looking for more British estate agents to join their network. With the new funding secured, the team remain eager to hire English-speaking agents who are interested in shifting their expertise to the French property market.
Matthieu Cany, director at Sextant, said: “The investment is a symbol of the trust in our business as well as a celebration of our success we have already had over the past 10 years. The integration of the Inter Invest Capital teams within our company’s own framework was fluid and we are delighted to count them among our shareholders. Together, we will be able to further develop Sextant’s ambitious growth plan, which will benefit the whole network of our agents.”
He added: “Our branches continued to register enquiries from British buyers and investors. To meet the demand and reflect our target audience, we are keen to reach out to more English-speaking estate agents to join our teams.”
I contacted these people last year and wrote to them in English and French and never even received the courtesy of a reply.
