Rhydian Scurlock-Jones to lead 30-strong team at Savills
Rhydian Scurlock-Jones has been appointed as the new head of the Savills office in Telford.
Scurlock-Jones, the firm’s West Midlands rural director, will take over from Tony Morris-Eyton who has stepped down after 24 years in charge in Telford.
Scurlock-Jones, who joined the Savills Telford office as a graduate 14 years ago, will now lead a 30-strong team at Savills Telford.
He said: “I am delighted to be given the opportunity to lead the office and excellent multi-disciplinary team at a time of growth and am very grateful to Tony for his support in the transition and ongoing development.”
Morris-Eyton will now focus on his role leading the residential sales team covering the West Midlands.
Morris-Eyton commented: “It has been an honour to lead our Telford office over the past 24 years. Having worked with Rhydian for many years, I know I will I leave the office in superb hands and I look forward to continuing my work within our residential sales team as we continue into 2022.
“I will also be focusing my efforts on my role as the High Sheriff of Shropshire by championing our beautiful county close to home and further afield.”
Lawrence Hannah appoints new director
Lawrence Hannah in north Yorkshire has strengthened its property team with the appointment of Andy Rogers as director.
Rogers joins the York-based agency to lead their building consultancy team, replacing Michael Holford, who is still retained by the practice as a consultant.
Rogers, an experienced project manager, joins from Avison Young, formerly GVA, in Leeds, where he was a director and head of their building consultancy team. He previously worked for GVA in the Midlands.
He commented: “It is an extremely exciting time to be joining Lawrence Hannah, with a number of high-profile and exciting projects both on-going and in the pipeline in North Yorkshire and beyond.
“It’s also a great challenge and opportunity for myself personally, working with an established and highly respected and experienced Yorkshire property team.”

Withers expands residential property team with addition of partner Pervaze Ahmed
Law firm Withers has added partner Pervaze Ahmed to its residential property team.
Pervaze joins the company from Howard Kennedy, where he was the head of residential Property.
Pervaze specialises in advising on the sale and purchase of high value properties in the London market. He works with a broad range of clients and has an extensive network amongst property agents and banks.
Pervaze will join residential property partners Henry Stuart and Nicholas Vaughan in London, as well as working closely with tax and estate planning partner Hannah Wailoo, who joined the firm in 2021 and also has a track record of assisting clients from the Middle East.
Pervaze commented: “Despite the challenges of the past two years, prime central London property remains a valuable and sought-after asset, and I fully expect to see the market bounce back to high levels of activity.”
