Fine & Country expands in preparation for predicted busy premium market
Fine & Country West London has expanded their team size as they prepare for a potentially busy 2022.
Ben Madden, the principal director of the business located in Turnham Green Terrace, and previous owner of Thorgills, the West London based agent, has expanded his Fine & Country operation in preparation for what he believes will be a busy 2022, in the premium property market.
He commented: “I recently sold my interest in Thorgills, allowing me to focus fully on our Fine & Country business. In my first three years operating under the Fine & Country brand, I have been amazed at the doors the brand has opened and conversations it has allowed us to have. The quality of the brand’s proposition and the growth we’ve experienced lead me to believe that we have found a winning partnership.”
Thorgills Property Group was recently acquired by Leader Romans Group, as part of their expansion strategy. Terms of the sale saw some of the Thorgills team transferred to Fine & Country, to aid future growth.
Madden added: “After 13 years building a business from the ground up, I now see enormous value in joining a well-established and respected business such as Fine & Country. As part of the sale, I was able to recruit some great team members directly from Thorgills, not least, Daniel Madden [no relation]. Daniel joined Thorgills back in 2008 and worked his way up to Managing Director, before more recently agreeing to be my business partner at Fine & Country.”
Jamie Craddock to head up new division at Sprift
Sprift, the property data specialist, has named Jamie Craddock as its head of surveying technology.
Craddock will oversee the launch of the firm’s new ‘Sprift for Surveyors’ product – a desktop assistant tool that offers a comprehensive range of data to surveyors from official and trusted sources.
Craddock, who has been with Sprift since June 2020, will continue to support his estate agency client base. In the role, he will be responsible for launching and enhancing the product and building up the surveyor client base.
He said: “We have listened to surveyors and are excited to be launching this game-changing tool, which has been in development for a considerable period of time. We wanted to bring a cost-effective offering to market, providing surveyors with a range of benefits to support their role in the property transaction process, whilst also helping them to develop their credentials at a very cost-effective price.
“There are over 28 million properties stored on the Sprift platform, and we have already produced nearly 1.8 million reports for our estate agent clients. We look forward to hearing the response of surveyors to the new platform.”
