Chosen Home appoints a new area manager

Midlands estate agent Chosen Home has appointed Hannah Delaney as a new area manager.

Hannah Delaney

Delaney has a lot of experience working in the property sector, having spent nine years in the industry, most recently as senior sales manager at residential development specialist, Seven Capital.

She said: “Having spent nine years specialising in residential sales, I was looking for a new challenge, and after meeting the Chosen Home team, I knew this was it. The team are experienced and so passionate about what they do, and I believe strongly in the unique model that the business has created whereby Chosen sells people’s homes for free.

“In just nine months, the business has grown very quickly,” she added. “It’s been incredibly busy with the well-documented demand in the current climate to buy and sell homes. Chosen Home is highly focused on providing great customer service and it’s exciting to see the brand evolving, I get a real sense of pride every time I drive past a Chosen board.”

Jay Chauhan recruited to strengthen Principle’s customer service team

Principle Estate Management has appointed Jay Chauhan to help it look after the full range of block, estate, residential rented and commercial units in its portfolio.

Jay Chauhan

Chauhan has joined Principle as a customer services executive after eight years’ experience at Mainstay Residential Management.

She joined Mainstay in 2013 as a front of house concierge at a high-end development built by Berkeley Homes group in South London.

She then worked in various roles as an estate manager and property support advisor, latterly at the company’s Worcester offices.

Chauhan will work alongside Adam Kightley, Principle’s senior customer services executive, and together they will support property managers Stephen Downing and Melanie Hunt.

Kightly said: “Jay demonstrated during the interview process that she knows how to do the job and is passionate about it. She will properly hit the ground running.

“She’s aware of the company’s high customer service expectations and will be an excellent fit in the team.”

Chauhan has started at Principle at the same time as new apprentice Seran Fitzpatrick, who in turn will support the customer service team.

Chauhan said: “I am impressed that Principle is using the Qube property management app, as I have plenty of experience of this from my previous role.

“This will enable me to get up to speed quickly and I am looking forward to getting involved with the properties we manage across the country and working with our clients, customers and suppliers.”
