Northwood team in training to beat world record for Channel swim

A team from Northwood is hoping to break the world record for a Channel swim relay race.

The current time is eight hours and 42 minutes.

Operations manager Greg Wood, Paul Hancock and Stuart Parris are in training for their attempt which – weather permitting – will be during the last week in July.

The quartet are doing their swim to raise money for the Northwood Charitable Foundation, which was established after the death in 2013 of managing director Nick Cooper from pancreatic cancer.
