Countrywide is to hold a property roadshow tomorrow in Liverpool, showcasing its northern brands, including Clive Watkin, Sutton Kersh, Beresford Adams, Entwistle Green and Bridgfords.
Countrywide acquired Sutton Kersh and Clive Watkin last November.
The roadshow will be aimed at landlords, with updates on landlord legislation, tax advice, lending rates and market updates.
The event takes place at the Everyman Theatre on Budget day.
Jane O’Donnell, regional sales director for Countrywide, said: “We believe that the 3% increase in Stamp Duty will be a hot topic.
“The average house price in Liverpool is £132,340 so a landlord or second-home buyer purchasing a property at this price will go from paying £147 in Stamp Duty to £4,117, a difference of £3,970.
“Also, those investors looking to purchase a flat at the average price in Liverpool of £117,719 will go from paying no Stamp Duty to £3,532.”
