Business sales broker Adam J Walker & Associates has completed more than £1bn worth of business sales, marking a significant milestone for the company.
Founded by Adam Walker, the firm has completed more than 700 business sales since he entered the brokerage sector in 1992. Walker initially combined business sales with his work as an estate agency trainer and management consultant, having trained more than 100,000 estate agency professionals during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
As demand for brokerage services grew, business sales became the company’s primary focus. Walker stepped away from training during the Covid-19 pandemic and has since concentrated exclusively on advising the sale and acquisition of estate agency and property-related businesses.
Adam Walker said: “If someone had set me this target in 1992, I would have seen it as an impossible dream. However, over the last 10 years, the rate of consolidation in the letting industry has increased hugely and I have now set myself a new target of selling another £1bn worth of letting agents before I finally retire.”
