easyProperty reaches 100 sales listings

Online agent easyProperty now has 100 properties for sale on its books.

Badged as part of Stelios Haji-Ioannou’s empire which includes budget airline easyJet, the business was first launched as an online lettings agency in September last year.

Launched by Robert Ellice, the site branched out into sales last month when it promised to save “home-sellers across the UK thousands of pounds in hefty high street fees”.

Its upfront fees range from £475 to £1,500. For £475 vendors host viewings and handle sales progression. For £825 sellers host the viewings but the sales progression is handled by easyProperty. For £1,500 sellers get a full service, including premium listings on Rightmove and Zoopla.

In a bid to attract vendors, easyProperty offered its first 200 sellers free fees.

The agent currently has 101 properties listed with Rightmove. They range from a £1.7m terrace house in London to a £46,500 two-bedroom flat in Liverpool.

101 x £0= Nothing at all, not a penny! Well done all!

A national firm with a register smaller than a two office firm of independents that has  no income? Sorry  I can not see this being the future and apparently nor can vendors.

Somehow, someone has missed the point multiple Telly shows have reinforced; how brand Easy are repeatedly seen to be rude and belligerent, offering quite shabby levels of service, invariably having something to  snipe when a complainants back is turned but then really whoop it up after hours. That said they are cheaper than people who do the job properly, have manners and respect for their customers.

Looks like the public already know what ‘cheap’ buys!

hahaha..love it! and judging by their lettings instructions (churning) I wonder how many of their sales instructions are real too. The “rude and belligerent” part will be Ellice’s influence, I have encountered many over inflated egos yet Ellice’s head is so far up his own backside its like he’s wearing a bad fake tan..!!

It’s got to say something that they have an immensely slow take-up of a FREE ‘service’!

Hi PeeBee.. There’s an article in Financial News – a discussion with Robert Ellice re his plans to float easyproperty… if you remember, the big talk this time last year was all about a pre IPO (due now in Sept).. leading to a flotation shortly after.. Ellice is now saying he’s not sure when the best time to float will be because blah blah – he also says he is ‘pitching’ to IPO advisers.. but I cannot see any financial house being willing to support him in an IPO campaign with his first year results no better than ‘dodgy lennies lettings’..

Oh, and I nearly forgot.. he’s also ‘due’ to expand into europe now too.. but I guess if he can’t make it work in the UK…

I can tell him – it will be when his company starts turning over more than ‘Lennie’s lettings’

Sorry….. I miscalculated by a considerable margin…. 1?…… 99 Freebies to go!…. I think a Teaser Ad with a picture of a Large 99 Cone should help and the Tag Line….. Free 99 with Every Free Listing if you’re Flakey enough!

    Job done!

Pearl of ‘expertise’ from just one of their listings:

“This four bedroom End of terraced house; effectively giving it the same status as a semi detached house…”

    Yeah… right.

Also love the way that IDENTICAL cloud formations not only ‘pop up’ in different parts of the UK, on different days, on their listings – but also move from front to back on the same ones!

(and yes of course I know how… and how commonly used it is in the industry… but at the end of the day all it does is highlight A LAZY AGENT – in this instance one who can’t afford to go back on a sunny day!)
