Agents who said they were the ‘tops’ agree to take down the claims

Two agents who both claimed to be ‘top’ in their areas have individually been reported to the Advertising Standards Authority.

Both have agreed to remove the claims.

Bridges Estate Agents, in Hampshire and Surrey, said they were “market leading agents”. The complainant challenged whether this claim could be substantiated.

The other complaint was about Worthing estate agents Robert Luff & Co’s Facebook post that included the claims “We’re No. 1” and “It’s just one of the reasons why we’re the number one agent in the area”.

There is a solution..enter the International Property Awards. If you win your category then you have a legitimate claim to the statement.
