Does anyone know of an estate/letting agency, that exists, where a group of independent consultants / negotiators work together in partnership and are also shareholders of that company?

Where you can work to build your clients and they still remain your clients but your running and marketing cost are less (shared/split) than if you went out on your own to set up a brand new agency. ( A co-op, if you wish. )

Discounting franchises, American models such as (Remax, Kerr Williams) online agents such as (Ewemove etc.)

This may be unusual but hopefully someone may be able to help or point in the right direction.

We have tried this in the past. Basically a self employed role with a high commission split similar to mortgage bikers set up.
We found sadly the motivation to go out and win business was not there with them. In theory it’s a good idea but in practice it’s very hard to find the right person that is motivated and upholds your companies image.

Thanks for the reply, it’s a shame that it didn’t work. <span style=”font-size: 11pt; line-height: 107%;”>I also think it is a good idea but not all good ideas are money makers.
