Propertymark said Baroness Taylor, who serves as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Housing and Local Government, is expected to discuss the government’s priorities for the housing market, including ongoing reforms to the home buying and selling process and proposals relating to material information in property listings.
The event, held at ExCeL London, will bring together industry figures to discuss issues including housing policy, technology, artificial intelligence, market trends and business development.
Other speakers due to appear include Karren Brady, Mel Stride, Angela Rayner, Lara Lewington and Daisy McAndrew.
The conference programme will also cover topics including transaction speeds, auction partnerships, recruitment, marketing and emerging business models within the property sector.
Jason Lee, head of commercial at Propertymark, said: “As the government continues to progress reforms to the home buying and selling process, this is a significant opportunity for property professionals to hear directly from the minister responsible for shaping these changes.
“The property sector is undergoing a period of considerable transformation, driven by evolving consumer expectations, technological innovation and regulatory reform. Propertymark One brings together industry leaders, policymakers and practitioners to discuss these changes and explore the opportunities they present.
